weiner is a funny word

The old saying goes "Spring is when a young man's fancy turns to love". I dont know about the love thing but horney is certainly applicable in my case. If there is a few moments where I'm not keeping busy with something my starts wandering and women pop into my head. All I can picture are body parts!!! Soft yet firm body parts. I walk around with a semi-permanent hardon. Girls drive by in cars and I want to do them. I see girls in person and I want to grab them and have sex right there. And with the weather so nice I just want to strip down enjoy the outdoors without anything on. These feelings are a bit disturbing but at the same time they are so exhilarating you dont want to give them up. Very drug-like.

Spring has hit in a big way. A week ago it was around 50, yesterday it was 91. Felt like summer. Thankfully it is supposed to cool down to around 70 the next few days. Thats still above normal but not too much. The grass is greening and the trees are flowering, especially the pear trees. Daffodils are blooming, tulips will be popping up shortly. We're very close to being in one of the prettiest times of the year.

I dont post alot to my blog. Not nearly as much as alot of people. I find myself always looking at the recently updeated blogs.

Have you ever noticed just how many people write about music in their blogs??? It seems people have an unhealthy obsession with music. Maybe unhealthy isnt the correct word, but it seems like its all they think about. This bands good....this band sucks...this band is coming to town. Alright already!!!! Enough with the band obsessions!!!

The other theme that seems popular is the "I'm so miserable" theme. They're sick, they're heartbroken, they're whatever. There's an awful lot of depressed, unhappy people out there obsessing about petty little things.

Is there a reason for these two types of blogs being so popular? Does Blogger draw a certain type of user? Or...is all of America this screwed up?

Does anyone else get tired of seeing the endless parade of actors/singers/entertainers that testify before Congress? There seems to be an inordinately large number that give their expert testimony. And the stupid congressmen seem to give their testimony serious weight. David Hyde Pierce from Frazier lent his "expertise" about Alzheimers yesterday. It's too bad he's had 3 family members suffer from the disease and surely he can give some insight into the struggles a family member may have but he isnt an expert on the effects Alzheimers will have on the nation as a whole. One of his quotes was ``Half of us in the room already have a time bomb ticking away in our brains,'' Pierce said. ``Congress must find a way to defuse this bomb before it destroys us.''. Oh please! Save the drama for the next episode of Frazier, David.
