One week to go before this year’s road racing season begins with the traditional Froze Toes race in Columbia, MO. This past weekend was very wintry. Freezing rain started Saturday evening, followed by sleet and then about 3 inches of snow Sunday. While it would be a memorable race, I do not care to have those conditions this coming Sunday. This week is supposed to be nicer in comparison. Rain is forecast for 2 or 3 days but the temperature is supposed to be in the 40’s and maybe even the low 50’s on a couple days. With any luck, the weather will be bearable.
